Vanessa is a long-time digicomms professional dedicated to creating and implementing innovative engagement and communication strategies. Their passions are exploring how to build power online more effectively, helping organizations build better relationships with their supporters, and training the next generation of digital leaders.

Throughout Vanessa’s career, they’ve balanced big-picture strategy planning, data infrastructure management, mobilization planning, and organizational efficiency with day-to-day implementation, experimentation, and project management. They have successfully supported frontline communities, grassroots groups, unions, worker-organizing groups, and nonprofits across the US and Canada in a variety of roles.

Vanessa is originally from Mississauga of New Credit Territory (also known as Toronto, Ontario, Canada) but now lives on Coast Salish Territory in Washington State.
